What Are The Benefits Of Hormone Balancing For Women?

Women's entire health is influenced by mental, physical, and emotional elements, but there's another component you've certainly heard of but may not be paying enough attention to balanced hormones.

Hormones are chemical messengers produced in glands and delivered into cell receptors throughout the body via the bloodstream. The hormone system can be thought of as the body's physiologic "internet," a web of signals that communicate with all other systems and regulate immunity, metabolism, reproduction, and more.

Balancing Hormones: Estrogen and Progesterone

The hormonal system of a woman is intricate and delicate. In case you forgot everything from physiology 101, here's a refresher: Estrogen and progesterone are the two primary female sex hormones. Most of us feel great when we're in balance.

Progesterone is far more important than estrogen. The problem is that because our environment is loaded with xenoestrogens, substances that mimic estrogen in the body, this can be difficult to achieve. (They are called Xeno because they originate from outside the body.) Xenoestrogens can be found in a variety of areas:

  • Mercury in fish is classified as a metalloestrogen, or a metal that has estrogen-like properties.
  • Many plastics include bisphenol-A, or BPA, which has been demonstrated to activate estrogen receptors.
  • Exogenous estrogen sources such as parabens and phthalates, which are included in many healthcare and cosmetic items, can disrupt healthy hormone signaling.

HORMONE BALANCING IN WOMEN

Hormone balancing has proven to be effective for improving women's general health and well-being. Hormone balancing helped women with premenstrual syndrome, sometimes known as PMS, to have fewer symptoms. Estrogen and progesterone are essential for a woman's well-being. Women experience menstrual cramps, mood swings, breast tenderness, and other symptoms when estrogen levels rise and/or progesterone levels fall. Obviously, this is related to a hormonal imbalance at that point in the woman's cycle. These symptoms will fade or disappear once the hormones have been balanced to normal levels.

The ability to sleep more peacefully and perhaps enjoy an increase in libido are two more benefits of hormone balancing in women.

WHAT ARE THE 3 BENEFITS OF NATURALLY BALANCING HORMONES?

The following three advantages can be expected after your body's hormones are adjusted. When the hormone that is most important to their unique needs is appropriately balanced, both men and women report these benefits.

Feeling energized is a good feeling. You will regain your energy after your hormones have returned to normal levels. A perfectly balanced body gives you that extra spring in your step.

Sleeping better. You probably tossed and turned all night before your hormones were balanced. You probably also had nocturnal sweats. Nobody wants to wake up cold and hot at the same time, having gotten little to no comfortable sleep. Hormone balancing will return you to a restful night's sleep with a constant core body temperature.

Lower Mood Swings. You probably had mood swings before hormone balance. You may go from elation to misery at the drop of a hat. That is not a healthy way to live, since it has an effect on your job environment as well as your personal relationships with friends and family. By balancing your hormones, you'll be able to feel cheerful and "normal" again, without being agitated as readily.
