Admission Process

Admission to the University of Phoenix is a multi-step process. Applicants will need to complete an online application, submit official transcripts from high school and any college credits earned. Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) scores are required for international applicants. Applicants whose native language is not English must also provide proof of their English proficiency with the International English Language Testing System or TOEFL scores. Students who have completed fewer than 32 credit hours at another institution will be required to complete University Orientation before applying for admission into a degree program at the University of Phoenix in Arizona. For most applicants, this orientation session will take place online through Web Campus. Admitted students may register for coursework after completing University Orientation and submitting an official transcript showing completion of high school graduation or its equivalent.
