A chain of water parks and family entertainment centers originating in Mesa, AZ, is Golfland-Sunsplash. The park is split into two different parks. Golfland has three miniature golf courses, an arcade, a pizza restaurant, a go-cart track, and bumper boats, all running year-round. In the summer, Sunsplash runs and features 29 attractions focused on water.

In 1983, the park opened and the water park opened in 1986.

The Golfland Entertainment Centers are run by Golfland-Sunsplash. Established in 1953, Golfland Entertainment Centers currently operates 7 properties in Arizona and California.

Thunder Bay is a wave pool measuring 450,000 gallons.

The initial four tube slides are called Splashwater Harbor Slides. Two dark slides and two standard slides are available.

  • Master Blaster (2002) is a water slide that uses jets, similar to a roller coaster, to propel riders uphill.
  • Sidewinder (2005) is a water slide in the half pipe style.
  • The Cauldron (2008) is a single body slide for a rider that falls into an open tub. At Golfland in Roseville, CA, the first ever bowl slide was installed in 1999.
  • A seven-story family raft trip with three high-speed drops is Thunder Falls (2010).

  • The Stormrider (2011) is a behemoth-bowl slide for four boys. It is one of the tallest slides in the southwest at nearly 8 stories tall. In 2004, at Golfland in Roseville, CA, the first ever Behemoth Bowl slide was built.
  • A two-person bowl slide with a high speed drop is the Revolution (2012).
  • Double Dare (2014) consists of two parallel racing body slides that begin with the SkyBox trap door launch system from ProSlide Technology.

Golfland Sunsplash is Arizona's premier destination for family fun. With more than 30 thrilling rides and attractions in one location! The Golfland Family Fun Center and Sunsplash Water Park have something for the entire family, from exciting water slides to award winning miniature golf!

To choose between, they have many different courses. They have a water park which opens in the summer, too. There's an arcade inside. An entertaining place to spend a day!

A laser tag area and an arcade are all on top of the golf course. There are many ways to navigate the golf course that are also wheelchair friendly.
