Cave Creek is a community located in Maricopa County, Arizona. Phoenix is the major city it borders. The village of Cave Creek is located in the Sonoran Desert. The town has a total area of 28.2 square miles (73 km2), according to the United States Census Bureau. It is close to the town of Carefree, which shares the local landmark Black Mountain.

Cave Creek Tributary Trail is one of the places you can go to near Cave Creek. This paved multi-use route connects to the lengthier Cave Creek Wash Trail and travels along the banks of one of Cave Creek's tributaries. The Cave Creek Tributary Trail connects a number of Phoenix homes and businesses, particularly the commercial strip along Cave Creek Road near the trail's eastern terminus.

Moon Valley Park has parking for the Cave Creek Tributary Trail (328 W. Coral Gables Drive). Shade, a twisting concrete surface, and tunnels under major highways are all aspects of this off-road trail. It serves as a fantastic link between the Cave Creek Wash trail system and Cave Creek Road or the 51 bike route.

There is a lot of gravel on this trail if you're rollerblading. If you're an intermediate skater, it's unlikely to be a serious issue. I can picture a novice taking a couple of spills.

A route, track, or unpaved lane or road constitutes a trail. Some paths are designated as single-use, meaning they can only be used for walking, cycling, horseback riding, snowshoeing, or cross-country skiing. Unpaved trails are also available for dirt bikes and other off-road vehicles. The majority of the paths have a gravel or dirt surface that is suitable for walking, mountain biking, and horseback riding.

Single-track trails with natural surfaces will need to be maintained on a regular basis. Maintenance should be confined to clearing felled trees, pruning back undergrowth, and clearing drainages if the trail is correctly designed and constructed. If the path is well designed, there should be no need for major repairs such as grading or erosion control activities, depending on the site. Mountain paths that receive heavy rainfall and human traffic, on the other hand, may require "trail hardening" initiatives to prevent additional erosion.
